Three students off to Qld for operatic experience
Year 10 student, Laura Cutroni and Year 9 students, Eliza Garlepp and Sarah Gordon are off to Stuartholme, our sister school in Brisbane, as part of an ANZNET exchange opportunity - Moving Opera.
Moving Opera, is an Opera Queensland Extension Residency Program conducted in secondary schools. The Residency Program will workshop Music Theatre and Opera repertoire and techniques, vocal and choral techniques, performance skills including stagecraft , character exploration and development as well as improvisation and scene devising. The program will be run by artists from Opera Queensland.
The program will culminate with a concert on Friday 18 February in which the participants will be showcasing their work.
