State Runner Up in Alliance Francaise
Year 7 student, Amy Chew, was the State runner up in the recent Alliance Francaise poetry recital competition.
Amy received a Mention Très Hororable for her recital. A certificate and prize will be awarded at a ceremony held at Glen Eira Town Hall on 25th November. She will be awarded her prize by the French Ambassador.
Amy recited the poem called "Mon Cartable" by Pierre Gamarra. "It was really nerve wracking but very rewarding," said Amy of her experience.
