Prayers in Pyjamas
Year 1 girls came back to school in their pyjamas last week for beautiful Prayers in Pyjamas ceremony.
The girls brought their favourite teddy and with their families by their side, they were introduced to the different ways that we pray and how important it is for us to have communication with God.
In a beautiful illustration of the Sacred Heart goal, ‘Faith which is relevant in today's world', they explored prayer through song; wrote their own prayers in their special prayer books and decorated a Grace tablemat with stickers.
The night concluded with a teddy bear biscuit and a nice warm cup of Milo with some delicious marshmallows.
