Quilts and pillows for Melbourne's homeless.

Sacré Cœur students create and donate home-made quilts and pillows to Melbourne's homeless.

Sacré Cœur has extended the warmth of the ‘heart of compassion' with the production of Cor Unum quilts and pillow cases which were donated to Melbourne's homeless via the Sacred Heart Mission in St Kilda.

Senior students were involved in a multi-stage production process; gathering recycled material; cutting it; sewing it into patches; and then designing and producing colourful quilts which were then filled with down.

Joigny students decorated matching pillow cases.

A presentation of these heart of compassion creations was made to Kylie McNamara from the Sacred Heart Mission.
