At Sacré Cœur we aspire to the highest professional standards amongst our teaching and non-teaching staff. This is reflected in the quality of the relationship between staff and students, the learning environment created and the concern for each individual.
Teachers are powerful role models and uniquely placed to influence young people, to encourage, affirm and even inspire them to fulfil their potential. At Sacré Cœur, teachers are expected to live out the goals of Sacred Heart education. They must take a leadership role in building up the community of the School, beginning with their own classrooms where the highest standards are expected of all and everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
Sacré Cœur offers salary conditions commensurate with the Victorian Catholic Education agreement and all teachers have the use of a laptop and iPad during their tenure. The School offers a three week mid-year break and a mid-term break in Term 4. Staff members who elect to enrol their daughters at Sacré Cœur may benefit from generous fee discounts. It is a positive and happy working environment, close to the city and south eastern suburbs. On-site parking is available.
