Drama and the Performing Arts
There are many opportunities for students at Sacré Cœur to participate in co-curricular Drama and Performing Arts.
Students are provided with opportunities to learn and develop skills as designers, directors, performers, playwrights and critics all within the historic continuum of dramatic work. The two major events are the School Production and the Arts Festival.
In addition, each year, the girls have the opportunity to participate in productions with Xavier College and St Kevin’s College.
In 2011, our Years 7 and 8 students are collaborating with Xavier on a production of Mulan Jr and our Year 7 girls are collaborating with St Kevin’s on James and the Giant Peach.
In September, our Years 6 to 12 students will be involved in the staging of an exclusive Sacré Cœur production of On Broadway.
